The Future of America, the
August Fraternity and You
Let me be frank and succinct. Many student have asked me in the last few weeks if the events of September 11th portend the beginning of the final battle envisioned by George Washington. The answer of the Hierarchs that watch over and protect The Fraternitas Rosæ Crucis is a resounding YES.The following is a message the Supreme Grand Master of the The Fraternitas Rosæ Crucis sent to all the members of this Order shortly after 9/11. Because so much of this message is important for all Americans, and spiritually inclined individuals everywhere, he has allowed us to reprint the greater part of it here, excluding only those parts concerned with the direct obligated responsibilities of our student/neophytes. Upon re-reading this for our new web site we were struck by just how much we predicted is now a fact.
However, to fully understand the circumstances in which we, as a nation, as a Fraternity and as individuals, find ourselves, we need to carefully examine the purpose, history and predicted fate of our great nation. America is not like any other country, any more than the August Fraternity is like any other fraternal order. Both of these grand structures have a purpose and destiny that is unique in human history.
By the eighteenth century the Celestial Powers that oversee all human endeavor had concluded that no one single race or nation was going to be capable of bringing to mankind the state of Holy Brotherhood that had long been predicted. While they knew there were many good individuals in every nation, no nation, up to that time, had enough of these to bring about the true spiritualization of all of mankind. Each race, each ethnic group and each nation of the Old World had had its chance, but was "found wanting."
Before giving up on the possibility of a "Heaven on Earth," however, these noble beings decided to give mankind one more chance. They arranged for a "New World" where the best and most spiritual of the Old World could be gathered to see if they, as a last hope for humankind, could create a perfect human state, the true Brotherhood of Man, a Heaven on Earth.
In the second half of the eighteenth century men who were imbued with the philosophy of the Secret Schools of the Old World came together in this new land of America and began to conceive and implement this dream. They knew full well the Celestial purpose of the nation they were creating, but in order that all who had "eyes to see, and ears to hear" would know this purpose as well, they emblazoned this intention on The Great Seal of the United States in language so clear that none should miss its meaning.
Today, we all are exposed to this message almost every day since these declarations, along with an engraved portrait of their chief advocate, are to be found on our dollar bill. Here we find “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” Out of Many, One. We would take from all the nations of the Earth those who were no longer satisfied with the old order and from these build UNUM–one special nation.
But, you may ask, "Was it really the desire of our nation's founders to take only the best of other nations or to take all who wanted to come to America?" The answer to this question is given in the next motto found on the Great Seal, which states, “NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM,” A New Order of the Ages . It should be obvious to all that our Founders knew well the purpose of America as established by the Hierarchical forces above. America was, and is, to be a nation of the select, that is, a nation of those who are best adapted to create the prophesied earthly paradise.
And what of the last motto on the Great Seal, “ANNUIT COPTIS?” This has been translated as Prosper Us in Our Daring. Most certainly this is an apt phrase for that upon which these men were about to embark. They knew that with a rabble bunch of untrained individuals they were about to take on the most powerful nation in the world at that time. But, they did it and they won.
And so on July 1776, we were conceived as a nation and the announcement of our conception is known as the Declaration of Independence. During our gestation period (the Revolutionary War) we had much suffering, but were finally born with all the usual trials of such things. Our birth certificate is called The Constitution of the United States of America.
We suffered through the usual early childhood diseases during the next century and almost succumbed to one, known as the Civil War. But we found a good doctor named Abraham Lincoln, who saved our life and we continued to grow ever stronger after that. For the next fifty years our childhood continued basically unchallenged and we grew into a fine young teenager.
During our childhood years we revered our father, George Washington, and our uncles, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and others. However, as a teenager we began to think of these men and their ideas as old-fashioned and not in keeping with the needs of our existence. In our teenage rebellion we began to embrace the sophistries of the Old World that we had come to America to escape. We forgot that the powers above had already written off these Old World nations (but not necessarily their individual citizens, particularly those who were students of the Great Work) and by allying ourselves with their centuries-old decadent ways, we were in line to take upon ourselves a part of their ancient karma as well.
We soon set aside Father Washington's admonition to have “trade with all, but foreign alliances with none” and began, in the early days of the twentieth century, to make many alliances with nations in the Old World–a process that has not only continued to this day, but now seems to be accelerating at an unprecedented rate.
While most of us are familiar with the statement “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” few are aware of its corollary that is equally valid, “The friend of my enemy is my enemy.” With every new alliance we take on all the enemies of our allies. Since most of our Old World allies have many centuries-old enemies, it is easy to see why at this time we are considered to be an enemy by billions of human beings. By these multiple alliances, and the intrigues that resulted thereby, we have done much to earn the appellation “The Great Satan.”
In our teenage naiveté we want to believe that a majority of the nations of the Old World embrace American ideals, that they are pure in heart and have a true desire to be of service to mankind. In most instances nothing could be further from the truth. The Old World nations are, by their centuries-old mindset, concerned mainly with their own interests and their long-held entrenched hatreds. They will ally with us only as long as such alliance suits their own perceived interest. Once this is compromised, they will leave us as rats leave a sinking ship.
As a nation, and as students of the Great Work, we must learn to grow up. We can no longer afford to play the naive teenager. Our riotous youth must be over; we must leave behind our teenage eccentricities and extravagances. We must relearn what it really means to be an American. We must cast aside the wolves and whore mongers of the Old World for good. We have been like the delinquent Pinocchio of Walt Disney's movie. We have been enticed to “Pleasure Island” by the confidence agents of the Old World. Like Pinocchio we are beginning to grow donkey ears and unless we grow up fast we will, like the boys who did not escape from Pleasure Island, be sold down the river as beasts of burden (slaves) by the slave traders of the Old World.
Why Do They Hate Us So?
This is a question on everyone's mind. The reasons for this hatred are many, but the scenario described above explains the most important of them. The Old World has been given up by the Celestial powers because its peoples and leaders have been consumed by hatred for centuries. Many attempts have been made to correct this situation, including the sacrifices of the Nazarene, but all to little avail. It is for this reason that the best of this Old World Order were destined to congregate in America to establish a New Order of the Ages, a nation of those who have the power to eliminate hate from their being. Only such a nation can lead the way to create the prophesied Heaven on Earth.
But, our forefathers knew that we would be able to fulfill our Celestial destiny only as long as we did not allow this Celestial destiny to be corrupted by the hatreds of the Old World. This is the main reason General Washington laid down his doctrine concerning alliances. Once we began to ignore his warnings, we began to plant the seeds that have grown into an international hatred of America.
Why is this so? It is human nature. In the last century we stuck our nose into Old World hatreds all over the globe. Like the policeman who attempts to break up a domestic dispute, we often ended up with both sides hating us for attempting to interfere with their delightful pastime. For those who have never learned to truly love one another, hatred is the next best thing. It stimulates both body and mind. It gives a people purpose. We see this in our own country with our street gangs. The hatred they have for other gangs is their “reason for being.” So it is with the countries of the Old World. China and Japan have hatreds that will never stop until one, or both, of them is utterly destroyed. So it is with Israel and the Arabs, Pakistan and India, the Serbs and the Muslims, etc. etc.
America, on the other hand, is a nation where hate is not the main motivating force of its existence. As such it is a thorn in the side of all national and religious haters everywhere. We are looked upon as standing in the way of every people, ethnic group or nation that desires to destroy their enemies. Since such desires are rife in the Old World, we end up being hated by nearly every Old World nation (with the possible exception of the British).
Since we have created, by our ever increasing foreign alliances, a nearly universal hatred of America, it is easy to see how the scenario of Washington's third Vision is possible:
“And again I heard the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' At this the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene: from each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were soon joined into one. Throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America. Our country was enveloped in this volume of cloud, and I saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages.”
In this final battle, which has now begun, all the evil forces of the Old World will be pitted against us, even many of those whom we now think of as our friends. All the aggressive nations of the Old World are concerned mainly with their own interests. As soon as these interests are better served by allying with those attacking America, many of our “friends” will quickly change their allegiance. We can see an example of this handwriting on the wall in the recent denunciation of America by the Israel leader when he perceived that we were attempting to gain Arab support to fight terrorism. This unabashed self-interest is the general mindset of the Old World nations and will be the main instigating force to convince them to unite against America in the coming years. What Should We Do As a Nation and What Will We Do?
While it is very difficult to retrace our national steps at this time, we could try to follow our “Father’s” advice and instead of seeking new foreign alliances take steps to remove ourselves from those we now have. We could say to all nations in the Old World, “We are sorry we interfered in your fun of hating one another and will immediately remove our presence and let you get back to the endeavors you enjoy the most.” Once we do this, we could bring our boys and girls home and place them on our borders to keep all the haters from the Old World out.
Will we do this? No. We are not yet adult enough. We are still a teenager at heart and will not gain full adulthood until after the final battle of Washington's Vision. In all probability, we will continue our present course, which in time will lead to the predicted result–a result, which, though horrendous in its execution, will eventually lead to the glorious New Renaissance. But then isn't this exactly what the Celsetial Forces desire to bring about their ultimate plan for the destiny of the human race? Exactly.
What Can We Do to Be Protected and Helpful?
Remain calm and resolute in your efforts in the Great Work. The Celestial Forces are now in charge of the events in the World. Know that although many will perish, you will have protection to the extent that you follow the Divine Law, continue with your practices and remain faithful to the August Fraternity. Headquarters is a charmed place; as is inscribed on a bronze plaque in one of our gardens, Este es un Lugar de Paz–This is a place of peace. Those who truly support this place of peace will themselves also find peace in the coming trials.
The other thing you can do now to help your fellowman by distributing The Manisis Chronicles. This facinating new book not only not only describes the major teachings of Manisis, but also gives specific directions how anyone may now assure himself a position as a member of the “wheat” of the New Renaissance.
Besides our students in the United States, we also have many students in other parts of the New World and in some of the nations of the Old World. Several coworkers have asked, “Will these student/members also be protected in the coming conflagration?” All students everywhere who are faithful to their studies and the Divine Law, as they understand it, will have the same protection.
In certain adverse circumstances it may not be possible for the Divine Law to preserve the lives of all who may deserve such protection. These students will, however, quickly reincarnate back to Earth and may, by this short stay in the Soul World, be born directly into the New Renaissance, thereby avoiding the onerous and laborious process of the Reconstruction.
Our nation's founders, in the Declaration of Independence, assured posterity that they were willing to “dedicate their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor” to create this nation. It is now up to us to preserve it and bring it into the New Renaissance. It was for this purpose that Beverly Hall was created. The Celestial Forces of all that is good and true expect us to fulfill our destiny and fight the final battle against the unified Old World forces of evil. They have promised to aid us in this crusade. Their promise is immutable. If we all do our part, our ultimate victory is assured.
